In A Murder of Crows, you will play with (and against) your friends in a TTRPG style game filled with deceit, alliances, and a little bit of assassination. You are all a part of the same assassins guild, but you need to get a promotion in said guild. The easiest way for that to happen is to, of course, take out your competition without anyone noticing.

4+ players recommended, GM needed. This game is played with a standard pair of dice.

1. First, choose your characters and preferred background. You gain proficiencies from both of these, each adding +3 to your rolls according to that specific skill, so keep that in mind! 
2. All of you will write your names on paper, fold it up, and put it in a cup. Draw names until no one has their own name anymore. The GM can also assign your target if that is easier.
3. You will then all have to roll to steal from 1 of 4 NPCs. Some weapons are easier than others to get, you must roll at least 10. If you manage to steal a weapon that does not align with your background, you gain +5 on attack rolls. Otherwise it is +3.
4. Then the scenario starts! The object is to try not to alert your comrades when attempting a kill on your target; you can forge alliances, or attempt to kill others to cover up your schemes. You will have to roll according to some skill checks, determined by GM.

Whoever is the last one standing wins.
